Flame rings

Can somebody test this:

Flame ring +1 helps you hit more than an roc +0, Fov +1, or HV when you have a HB on.




I just want to know for sure whether this is a myth or not. People say the flame dmg from rings beats the str dmg from these rings.

Everything I have read in other posts leads me to believe that Mage rings only affect mage attacks.

Elemental rings (i.e Shio, Flame) do not affect the damage inflicted by any class except for mages...
