HB+8 vs avedon+8

Hmmm, I tested hb +7 / avedon +7 in dcz ( VERY OFF-TOPIC I KNOW ) and the hb was recognizeable hitting harder ^^. I also used to have a hb +8 on my cz which was hitting pretty awesome, I just never had a avedon +8 so I can't help you with that one ^^.

HB+8 has more elemental damage which apparently toughens your combo up the more you use "R" - but the HP bonus + slightly higher AP makes it a better weapon.

This is my onion, there are many like it but this is mine. Nom nom nom.....

Avedon 8 would be my choice.

As stated before higher elemental increases R attack. That being said, I would rather haev slight higher AP from Avedon compared to higher Elemental.

R attack will fail somtimes or miss, Warrior skills never fail. Therefore higher ap on skill that never fail, compared to higher R attack that will miss / fail. There both sexy looking, but avedon wold be my choice.

hb+8 better for comboin because of the higher r damage.
avedon nice ap, also has nice bonuses on it than the hb.
so just up to your choice

well ive noticed i hit just a lil more with hb on unduffed people and slightly higher on duffed people with avedon, and the damage difference in vs is more or less compensated by the hp and mp bonuses on the avedon i believe so i chose the avedon great weapon IMO!

i wrote an entire paragraph on why avedon 8 is better..and then it dissapeared.

basically its hits higher on duffed people (people are constantly duffed in any zone)
more club def then axe def. (33% time atleast you fight a rogue hes using a chd...)
avedon is purple, shiny, and sexy.

If you are playing warrior only, then go Avedon+8, it's cheaper, it hits harder on duffed people, and people with low ac, which is great on mages, sins, duffed priests. The HB+8 is really good if your account is a mix, if you have a warrior and a BP on the account, then you can roll with the same weapon, and pretty much same uniques on both Characters, which would not work with an Avedon. Like others said the R damage would be slightly higher, also on high ac characters, and priests, your elemental helps out, but really doesn't help out enough to justify losing HP/MP/AP and the extra coins you could spend to upgrade other uniques/armor.
