Default How does priest AP work?

Ok im really confused, i have 2 smite hammer +7, im planning to play int Battle priest lvl 59. I dont get AP bonus from armor with strength bonus... but when i raise my strength (my stat) to wear chitin +7 (INT bonus) my AP increases (something that doesnt happen when i raise my INT stat). So, for int battle priest (using priest weapon), strength stat increases AP but not INT stat... but for amors INT increases AP but not strength... is that correct?
Should i spend my remaining point in strength or in HP as i had planned?
    Thanks.

BPs don't get any sort of AP bonus from offhand weapons, I hope you didn't plan on using dual smites7

    Nah dont listen to him.
The thing is Int increase ap if u use 1h weapon (holy animor/smite...)
Str increase your ap if u using 2h weapon (iron impact/hell breaker)

I do more damage with 2 smite hammer than with 1 smite and a shield...

    Not really sure now.

The point is, it only increases my AP with int bonus from armor and jewlery, not if i increase my int stat points.

You're not getting ap from the smite on offhand but you're doing more damage cause of the extra fire damage & theres str on it if im not wrong? its usko logic

If you put int in stat + armors/jewerly you should get a pretty nice ap (smite / shield)

    Like:
    220 Int
    125 Str
    Rest hp

    Items:
    Krowaz+7/8 set
    Iron set
    Platinum ring +3
    Legionare band +2
Hmm that EME but then with int/hp +2 (sorry to lazy to lookup the name)
    Smite+8 or leo+7
    gabs+7

    You would rape with that.

Elemental/bonuses on the second smite, just no bonus from the AP of the weapon.

Hmm so the point is, its better to use a shield coz of the defence u get that another weapon just for the fire/poison/whatever damage right?

Thanks for the guidance with the items, but im planing to play at 59 (at least for some time) and im not very rich, but ill keep those in mind when i decide to grow in level.

Yup thats right, only the str/int bonus & flame damage of the second weapon works so its better to use shield

    Little guide for lvl59:

Platinum ring +2 (theyre probably cheap cause no1 uses them)
    Rol +0/1
those white silver earings (the ones with int,hp & high def)+0/+1/+2 - Also cheap cause no1 uses them
    Smite+7/8
    Dread shield+7 & Cs+3/4/5
iron set (cheap on most servers now.)
Armor: hmm i guess ardream would do best with FP +7/8 (chitin gauntlet)

Well thanks for the answers, i ve asked about this at official forums and nobody seemed to know.

PS: isnt glass belt better than iron belt? it has +50 hp + 10 int and -20 defence.
