Well they are right hits about 75 more if duel rof and hb 8 then reg hb 8 but avedon is best

rofs flame damage would affect on mages... but on HB it doesn't... Even if it would then it wouldnt matter which weapon you use, because elemental damage is elemental damage...

elemental damage on rings only influences the damage for MAGES. (some ppl say it helps certain elemental skills of archer's, but i dno about this)

So in ur case, no it wont increase HB's damage, and i would suggest you to use avedon +8, simply cuz its such a sexy weapon to use, and its an axe, making it even better (since axe def is much more rare, take for example, the skeleton belt.)
