HB+8 has higher elemental which has proven to hit harder using "R"

II+9 increases your AP which, as a result, makes your skills hit harder.

If you are looking to choose between the two, don't choose the HB+8 just because it's rare and expensive. It's not that interesting, unless you're a BP maybe.

As Mino said, HB increases R damage and II skill damage.
But hb +8 is 181ap and II +9 198ap, so I would say II +9 does even same R damage than HB +8, because so big ap difference.

So basically II +9 hits same R damage, but more damage with skill.

It's not everything in the look :P but depend what u like,but true ii is not worth it , i play bp , so u should just try to get hb + 9 and pwn...

im using an ii+9 and it hits more than my old hb+8 , if u got the money and wanna have a sexy look too get the ii9

I create more damage with my HB+8 on priests than i do with my ii+9. Rogues take more damage with ii+9 than hb+8. Hb+8 also hits better on most warriors for me as well, except bad geared ones. Basically for breaking club deffense, the extra flame damage on the HB gives it stronger hitting damage. For xping, and killing nubs with no gear, the ii+9 is king. Their is no question of which hits harder, because the circumstances change. Hope this helps - 7 years warrior experience talking.

ii9 any day, hits harder on duffed people and has more all around damage.

Higher is the defence of the enemy (AC & club def as well) better the hb will perform, tnx to its high elem dmg.
As pointed before, II+9 will hit harder than hb+8 just considering the skill dmg. (but not that harder)Btw, that gap will be bigger on duffed people, for the reasons said before.
If u consider R hits, HB R-hit will always perform better than II R-hit. And that difference isn't little, especially when u hit someone with crazy defence.

Saying it shortly the higher R dmg of HB will compensate its lower skill-dmg making its total dmg the same or almost the same of ii+9.
If u're priest you will take advantage of the int bonus of hb - that means u can hit the enemy 1 or 2 times more (doing a total higher dmg than the one done by ii+9) before potting.
If you are warrior u wont have any advantage from that int.

If money is a prob go take HB+8

If money isn't a prob and u got all the jewels u need, go take ii+9.
If money isn't a prob and u still have place for jewels's improvment, go for HB+8.

Simple as that.
