Chitten +9 set vs Exc Trial Armor +8 set

The trial gives INSANE resist
But the chitten has more ac and hp

trial looks great at first look, but i think priests (bp or int support) are highly dependant on weapon def armours

so you strap on a piece or 2 of a weapon def on yourself and you broke the set, so bb bonuses

I would say the trial, u get MP and Resistence also, and i dont think the hp is much less because u get 15 and the bonus hp i may be wrong tho

Chitin +9, no doubt

Look, your a priest, you HARDLY EVER wear your full set of hp
atleast i don't, i pretty much always have 1 / 2 weap defenses on,

so incase you went for the trail armor, you'll have the nice bonuses but when you change to one or more defence armors,
you'll loose most of the good bonusses, also you'll loose alot of stats in HP

so in my eyes, its pretty useless to go trail

not only is weapon def alone a reason to go for the chitins+9, but also:
chitin+9 has 19 health, for a full set thats 20 health, plus the 16 stats you will be saving out for wearing chitins instead of shells (176 106 for chitin vs 190 108 for shells) is 36 health and extra AC for for chitins vs 14 int, 2 str and the set bonus from the trials. ill take chitins anyday.

and member trials loose their bonuses as u put on more dfense armorr

never used weapon def. armor and never had problems tanking as a INT priest - for that Trial would be better for me plus its Exc Trails !!

well as it looks from KOK u are mostly support, or never have the CS off in normal PK, so i would say the trial set is better, i check stats comparing FP8, chitin8, shell8, and trial7, the trial had best resist, best ac, best mana pool, and gave same hp as chitin +8 set, and while i played Int/support only wep def i used was CS and glass belt and dd helm, which was hardly ever cuz i just subside rogues and they dont hit for shit n e way, so personally i would say trial 8 is better
