If your accessories aren't great, get Shard+8.
If your accessories are pretty decent, get CHD+8.
Dark Vane is a much better dagger for your off-hand.
I'd rather have Shard+8/PD+7 then DV+8/PD+7, you keep the HP you have and have fine attack power.
I like the CHD though, helps with Club Defense and Resistances, just not as much DEX, but it's a great off-hand as well.

I woulndt go with those weapons as a main hand dagger :S.. If i was you i would use md+9/Shard+8 as main and use CHD as offhand. I used Chd+8 and it totally ownzzzzzz ( im sure everyone who tried a CHd+8 as offhand will agree with me )

Contrary to popular belief, CHD 8 in mainhand hits harder than shard 8. The dex + elemental combined makes it hit slightly harder and the resistances and club defence will help a lot. Despite this you should just get a shard 8 and focus on bettering your uniques.

u need high ap for ur main hand then shard 8/shard9 /mirage9 is better.

@Topic: If u only have enough for shard or CHD, i suggest u to get a shard+8 with the pd+7 .. cuz 2 offhand daggers aint really .. And then save off for the CHD+8 for ur offhand

might aswell up your pd to +8 and if it fails buy a shard8/cleaver9 and use the chd8/dv8 if offhand. only logical thing i could think of.

and im sure someone has already told you the better of the 2 daggers your asking about.
