Personal Sword+8 vs Avedon+8

Which weapon would be better for my level 80 warrior?

Avedon +8 184 90 Glacier 225HP 225MP req 216str 80hp
or
Sword of Player +8 184 80 Lightning 8 HP 8 STR 16FR 16GR 16LR req 228str

Do I want to go full str and or do I only want to put enough str to hold one of the two?

Is the 8hp from sword more then 225hp from axe?

Will I get mp from the 8hp from the sword?

i would take the sword, is a sick wep h34r:. idk if u will get more less 225hp but u will get mana from those 8 hp.

besides i dont think a lot of ppl carry sword defense.

and on the build actually depends on ur uniques, if u have str uniques (dr, opal etc) i would use 228 or 232 str and rest in hp if u want a balanced char. if u r an ap whore go 255str xD

same AP, str bonus makes up for 10 elemental difference, 8HP bonus will give you both hp and mana so difference will be minimal and resistances at the same time with sick weapon are something you can not throw away

personal+8>avedon +8


and if you got good uniqs i would personally go for full str, but its just my preferance. i can also tell you you wont make a mistake if u go 228str rest hp...in my opinion it depends on other stuff you have, in this game everything is a combination of stats

edit: just now i seen your uniqs, lol rof+2 and shit? id go full str and with rofs and PEs and iron set you need those resistances on the sword, maybe i would go so far to make a COMBINATION: ROF+2, HERO valor +1/2, PE+2/WE+2 (maybe even with minotaur earring +1/2 even more heck its easily obtainable)

U must be brave if u put the +7 psword to the anvil and tried to upgrade it...
I was an asshole when i chose the shield, coz i use ss7 because its better against mages and gave me more hp for undy etc... Unfortunately theres no way to correct it

both same AP, both uniques so in that aspect similar damage. but sword has the +str

similar hp/mana

sword has resis also..

sword is not sellable, avedon is = go trick out your other gear, use the sword.
