    plate set+8 = 297 ac 138 int req
    fp set+8 = 374 ac 158 req
chitin set +8 477 ac 174 int req

If I remember right, priests get like 10 hp points for each stat into health, so basically its:

plate vs fp - 77 ac vs an extra 20 stat points (200 hp)
plate vs chitin - 180 ac vs an extra 36 stat points (360 hp)

Honestly, it all depends on what you think is more important, hp or ac. Coupled with the fact that the more int, the more base resists (which is always a nice +) and a higher mana bar, Id definitely choose chitin over the plate. The extra mana is often overlooked, but I think most of the times I died was when I got caught without mana waiting for a hp pot to finish its cooldown. With plate, youd have that much less of a cushion to work with.

If I were you I would keep it as a FP priest.
