    hb +8 = 181/155 flame
    ii +8 = 180/80 light

So the average attack skill should be roughly the same but the "r" skill on the hb will hit significantly harder due to more elemental.

    Hope this helps

And the less flame resistance someone has the harder you will hit them, at least with the 'r' attack, i'm not sure if this applies to skills as well.

always remember that any unique weapon has a chance to "critically" hit also so there's a chance you may hit harder on occasion with the hb

The biggest advantage is the Critical damage that it do some times.

I thought these things like critical on unique weapons, dodge dont work like repeal on shields etc...

this flame damage isnt that big of a deal in ur skill hit like mentioned above.. but ur r hit will be a lot bigger so if u can time these well, the hb is way better+ its sexy :d

In addition to higher R damage, you will hit a LOT harder on high AC targets like DS/ED mobs/unduffed players.

On Dark Stones, I hit only slightly lower with HB+8 than I do with Raptor+9

since the hb has about the same ap as on the II the base ap for damage will be about the same but when R attacking enemies the elemental will add more onto it. so regular II vs HB on a db'd enemy will be more effective.
