    doesnt it reduce defense by 10% for dagger/ arrow attacks?

    like dagger will hit 1.1k instead of 1k, same for an arrow and a club/spear w/e will still hit 1k

    Err, you wanna say if person has no DD at all, then it's useless against him?

    no,
    10dd works as 10% more defense against daggers

    so -10dd means 10% less defense against daggers, no matter if they got any dd items or not
