depends on your party. If you're in a well formed party, raptor, you get more kills, and you're receiving good heals so you dont necessarily need the gigas protection, if you're soloing, the giga.

zz no1 uses axe defense
for a higher lvl a giga 2h +7 is practically the best
at a lower lvl like 59 andream char go with rappy 8
but over all both are great weapons

depends on situation...
if you're exping use raptor
if you're running with 1234156465 humans to ob use raptor(because of the range)

if you're in party vs party pk use giga(hp, resist,mp)
if you're tanking towers..running into a party of mages use giga(resist)

if you're up agaisnt a priest with a chitin shield use raptor (i think... dont know if the elemental damage helps that much)

i think its better to just have the 2 of them :P, hard to compare a weapon in cz because of all the defences

and if you dont need the resistance, go for a avedon +8... its like a raptor with hp and mp bonusses

Since CS drops no more i think, and in logos there are hardly any spear defenses, id say go with raptor +8
