I just don't get why you insist on having these fixed roles. Attack rogue? If I played with some guy who ran around chasing bad geared rogues I would kick him from the party. That isn't an attack rogue, it's just a moron. Rogues deal good damage around 50% of the time and with running between targets it doesn't leave a massive amount of time to play support. The odd cure yes but the support role you are talking about is for when your party is getting raped. Any good rogue should be attacking the mages and priests as their first priority, and playing support if things go pear shaped but not sooner.

What isn't really acknowledged in this guide (which is a good guide no doubt) is that every time you play support you are inviting more offensive pressure onto your teammates. You're inviting their priest to debuff more, their mages to start casting nukes. The best thing a rogue can do for his party is shit on priests and mages with well timed debuffs. If you're not taking advantage of debuffs on key enemies then you're dragging on the fight for no reason. In my opinion you should be killing one of their important players within about 5 seconds of the fight starting to get momentum, and when I played this was how we dominated cz.

And yeah I quit a long time ago but doesn't mean I can't read this forum every now and then to see what's happening It's nice to see that people still care about improving their gameplay instead of just spending $$$$.

i understand what your saying zero im just saying i feel that attacking the mage/priest is playing an offensive support. it allows you to tie up preist/mage or kill them while your teamates rape everyone else without having to be debuff or worry about opponent being tp. you are supporting them but still using your high dmg offensively

i geuss is could be a little of both.

maybe he should write a guide for combo and pk acknowledgement

Thats kinda what every rog does bknight, I dont know what ass you pulled offensiv support from cuz u r basicly just saying that attacking the target you should attack is support when its not. Offensiv support is when you start to attack the players that attack your priest/mage so you can take away some pressure from your priest or mage.

Well you see it as offensive support I see it as tactical offence, supportiv offence is more of, attacking people who attack your healers or mages rather than going for priest or mage cuz thats what attacker r there for.
