One or the other. It's a matter of opinion / what your other gear is. I don't think giving you a justification would have a purpose, seeing as you already know what does what (assuming you know what HP and AC does). Don't be a ditherer, just make up your mind.

Not sure what a ditherer is??? and yes I'm well aware of the difference between AC and HP which is why I asked a questioning regarding the two. I'm just wondering what would have more benefit in a pk stand point. I always PK with party of friends so I'll take Blue's advice. Thanks

hp is only better if you usually run with undy in my opinion. other than that i choose defense always.

explaining my logic:
hp can make you survive more and gives you a lot of starting health i like it more for if i run with parties a lot.
defense makes the damage for each hit lower each time so it just depends will the defense blocks out as much damage as you gain with the hp honestly im not really sure.

As a sin I would personally opt for the defense, yes hp is nice but hp pot + minor usually keeps you alive health wise fine.
