Why does Crimson have the same INT requirement as Complete?
oh well thats simple while i was designing the game......
why ask stupid questions that cant be answered? it just does.
Hey you don't need to live up to your title every post, unless you like alienating people.
He's right though..Hey you don't need to live up to your title every post, unless you like alienating people.[/b]
i dunno gues its like asking why priest armor requires str to be worn...
108 str for chitin shell >.>
it just does we dont know why
Chitin is heavier than a shirt and pants.i dunno gues its like asking why priest armor requires str to be worn...

No, but every class shell has more requirements, yet completes do not. Idk I was just hoping some1 had a reason.
it's more like shells have the same int required as chitins... I think they did 'move' int required for shells from 172 (+7) to 160 to make mages a bit more balancedNo, but every class shell has more requirements, yet completes do not. Idk I was just hoping some1 had a reason.[/b]
its lame, and more lame when ppl says crimson mage > complete mage, wtf is the difference if they both ask same stats...it's more like shells have the same int required as chitins... I think they did 'move' int required for shells from 172 (+7) to 160 to make mages a bit more balanced[/b]
why would u choose crimsons over complete if they give more ac, ofc talking about crimson +8 and complete +8
em... ppl say that Crimsons +8 are better than shells +7 lol ...its lame, and more lame when ppl says crimson mage > complete mage, wtf is the difference if they both ask same stats...

because for hp builds, crimson IS better than complete....lower mp req=more into hp...more into hp=more ac from hp=in the end u get roughly around the same ac and way more hp...which means when parasited ull have a higher base hp, which means ull have a higher chance to survive til curedits lame, and more lame when ppl says crimson mage > complete mage, wtf is the difference if they both ask same stats...

Mage Crimson Robe Pauldron +8 116 def 160 int 104 mp
Mage Complete Robe Pauldron +8 124 def 160 int 120 mp
difference of 16 stats points
crimson armor 390 ac all +8
shell armor 420 ac all +8
with 16 extra ac n hp its mere difference of 14 ac nicee
p.s
shit we seem to forget that weapons require mp as well
so people might as well get shell
as i said, for hp build mages crimson>complete...for hp build its all about support, so staffs are irrelevent, so mp is irrelevent thereMage Crimson Robe Pauldron +8 116 def 160 int 104 mp
Mage Complete Robe Pauldron +8 124 def 160 int 120 mp
difference of 16 stats points
crimson armor 390 ac all +8
shell armor 420 ac all +8

the way i always played my mage i never had any problem slowing people and that 16 extra hp came in handy EVERY time i stepped into cz, as i was consistently parasited even with spam cures on me i was still getting spam parasited and as for ac, 14 ac isnt that big of a difference maybe if it were like 100 ac difference or even like 50 sure then id consider it, but 14 ac? lol thats like lowering everyones damage by 10, its barely noticable
oh and thats only 14 ac difference if u assume u wear FULL complete and FULL crimson, most smart people wear wep def anyway
8 ac difference for pauldron, 8 for pads, so 16 total from complete assuming u wear gloves, boots, hat wep def...vs -16ac, but 16 ac and 16 hp gained from stats
crimson>complete, tyvm.
this is all assuming ur an ice support mage which ur main priority is staying alive so u can keep ur party alive with tp's and the occasional slowing aoe...if ur about damage or any other type of playing i wont get into that, but as ive proven here crimson>complete assuming u use wep def and dont really care which staff u use
so u dont use a staff? only shield?
