    Default Mage Damage Table

I just had a quick question, i've always wondered, for a mage what is that best for damage Attack Power (AP) or elemental damage on a staff.

For example, wreath of erenion has alot of elemental damage, but low ap. On the other hand a hell blood has alot of AP but not alot of elemental damage.

    or

Another example would be says a garp and a oasis staff,

    (All ~ +7)

    thanks for any response.

Take the staffs total AP and the total Elemental figure.

    Add them together.

    ????

    Profit!!

    yer, mushtman is right..

the higher ap the staff has, the more dmg it will deal with (staff hit)

the more elemental damage it has the more dmg you will deal with magic skills (inferno, aoe's n so on)

thats why mp/paper mages do high elemental damage.. but fail at staff dmg

and yes thats sanctis teh nooooop

    AP = Staff hit + nova, 54 57 80 etc

Elemental dmg = Novas' long skills.

AP got effect on novas too..

The Attack power is MAINLY for the Staff skills, and seems to help with AOE's (Only slightly)
The Elemental makes a larger difference on magic attacks, and gives a higher damage with the AOE, but lower with Staff hit.

Fail at staff dmg? equip a wood+10 then let's see if u say again the same

What people forgot to say in the previous posts.. (and that i find actually interesting to know) is that elemental dmg influences dot dmg too
