hehe yep so i just started dotaing.. and yeah haha any of u pros can gimme a list of "good yet easy to use heros" and maybe a list of someof the common starter items to get with this ( first 5-10 items to buy)

Okay this is just my opinion and I for sure forgot some heroes but here goes my advice:

Strenght heroes:
King Leoric - just one active skill and he is hard to be killed since he can ressurect from time to time
Dragon Knight - tough tanker, shitload of hp, great armor and high regeneration of hp
Balanar - hero for noobs, he pwns at night
Lycan - another hero who kills easy

Agility heroes:
Luna - easy-to-pwn hero, just find an enemy alone and click ultimate and pey pey, also small cd on beam for early game is cool
Riki - hero for noobs, well maybe not that good for beginners but if u learn to play him, he pwns ... mainly because of perma invisibility
Razor - passive u, lighting ... nothing so special but easy to manage
Nevermore - well ... u need some skill for him but this hero is a good farmer and u can get great items soon

Inteligence heroes:
poof I realy can't think of any atm

Just play all random mode in AI map, in most dota matches you won't be able to choose the hero you're the best with, or have to choose between some heroes, so the best is to know how to play with all heroes. The way to kick ass in dota is knowing what to buy to your hero, for example, if your hero has a good regeneration and good armor you might wanna take advantage of this while increasing his damage too, I haven't played dota too long but this is what I've learned so far :P. Though I'm still a noob so well yea my advice is that you practice with bots in insane until you kick their asses with any heroe :P

oke they are many lame heroes or starter hero like slayer and lion 3 button hero stun ulti kill -.- but that boring as zelda said try to learn them all heres a site with few guids to help u out

rm mode pubs are worse then ap and sd pubs. People instantly repick or want to swap and then they leave within the first minute.

ye i don't get people, people thing when they get something it's shitty... but every hero has it's benefit to help out the team, i just stay with the one given

invoker u gotta be gg to use, well at the beginning u'll need to type -invokelist, but like for me it was like after 2 games with him i had the combos down, at lvl 17 invoker is just ownage...

its not ownage. its a decent hero, but not ownage.

invoker is the most versatile hero. but requires hell of a timing + knowdlenge sicneu can't spamm -invokelist every other second. it just fills screen.
