Edited maps = hacked

This week I played in ombuserver gate, and I entered a room as an undead. My team while preparing to fight roshan found the enemy team and killed 'em all. Then the enemy team was saying we had maphack.

So I don't know what are those maps. The only idea I have of them is that they are edited maps and only hosts can use them. But I'm not certain because they were talking as if we were using something like an aimbot. Even when the host was an elf.

I only want to know if my theory is right.

Maphack = no fog of war = See the whole map etc.

CK and AR is fine, but Maphack in DOTA is fucking retarded.

u can kick ppl only if u are host it is good when somone leaves so u can manage it to 4v4 or 3v3 etc...
auto-refresh good thing too
but ppl who use maphack need to kill only if u get ganked 6-7 times ^^
but than is better buy blink ( 2150 ) gold than use maphack get banned etc...
