Have you tried going through the new account security bits? I think if you can go through those then you can change email, but I can't remember if it sent me an email when I did that on my accounts.

IT sends an email key to the email the acc is registered to. U need that email key to upgrade the acc with the new info.
So...no email > no email key > no new info
