I read it and it's very informative and most people really needed that advice but i have 1 suggestion:
This is really dependent on who the trader/receiver is. From my own experience i would NEVER sell/buy items first without the person whom i'm trading with being a well known forum user and has a number of vouchers. I'm talking about people like Thing (This is an example), who are well known in forums, given that he can prove that he's the real person, hence giving him the power to let others fill in their part of the transaction first.
Everyone would like being the one who receives payment/item first but the only real method in deciding who gets the privilege is all based on their amount of vouchers (which can sometimes be made up, so be careful), and their trade history (Always check their past threads/posts/visitor messages for a list of their successful past trades).
One last tip from me is to ALWAYS Google the email of the person you're trading because in most cases if the person has a history for scamming people/bad reputation, their email is most likely going to be posted somewhere by someone who has been scammed before by the same person.
