Ep +2 is simmilar to in +0 so ep +3 is better no doubts about it .

Not to mention the fact u will have a lot more Mana!!! (easily ignored...)

What also could be ignored is that Iron Neck already gives lots of health bonus...
EP = 375 extra hp + 5health bonus and 250 mana bonus
and from what I tested EP +3 gave 800 extra hp with undying (compared to IN that is, it was also ~1700+ without the comparison to IN) on lvl 80 (with no items except for the neck) and don't forgetIN also gives Strength...
Conclusion:

Iron neck -

+5str

I'd still go for Iron Neck as a warrior!
