Cleaver 9 > Shard 8.... if you want spend 6/7 more GB to look better and loose 1 AP / 10 poison... you choose. But about more attack fails, yes nice legend

And about the dark vane. A +8 should be ok for your level. But Its hard to find one. But I think its not so good at lvl75 (maybe a little more AP... but HP ??) because I know that a cleaver +9 is better than a DV +3 rebirth at lvl78 or lvl79 (AP and HP...).
