I buy woodstafs +8 , at least 6 of them but I prefer to have 10 (all other n00bie weapon at +8 wil do fine as wel)

Than 4 shell pieces +7 and I really dont care if there is alreaddy any elemental on it.

Burn the n00b stuf and upgrade the shell , bus in place 1 , trina in place 9

For me a 100% succesrate so far , and 90% of the time I dont need the 4th shell....

Ofcourse try to be the only 1 at the anvil , server restarts are great , everybody running there asses of for a boss ^^
And dont upgrade if 1 of the n00bie weapons would sucseed, just be patient en go again next server restart.
Same if anybody else had the same idea and starts making white lights...

As I said...by these rules a 100% succesrate for me sofar

Never tried to go +9.... just aint got the balls for it ;-)

i did it after server restart, burned some fps...then i started the shells...i made rest of my shells like that, once the first one went to +8...but im trying to make those pads for 3 months now and no luck so far ... cursed pads <_<

well ive seen lots of upgrades on youtube , some do the same as Chupa , and they succeed aswell. Also saw the same method but then they still burned everything.

some people are lucky enough to just put it on and it went +8.

so for this , blame the anvil !!! you just need some luck
