[acronym="A knight and a dragon live on a beautiful tropical island with palm trees and waterfalls and sandy beaches; and of course a big volcano in the middle. Every weekend they fight (because that's what knights and dragons do) and spend the rest of the week recovering. They're pretty evenly matched so neither of them really win their fights. One day they decide the island isn't big enough for the both of them. They decide to have a duel to the death.

On the island are seven poisonous wells. Each well has a sign with the numbers 1 through 7. The poison in the wells is tasteless will kill anybody who drinks it in half an hour, but if you drink from a well with a higher number than the one you've been poisoned from, it acts as an antidote and you survive. Wells 1 through 6 are spread out in different places on the island, easily reached by both dragon and knight. Well number seven, however, is on a stone pillar in the middle of the volcano where only the dragon can go.
