Agreed. Dex mage with sherion = 100% slow chance. With dark vane = instant stun. Pro is pro .

depends what you want to do, and how much money you have. Best two are probably mage or rogue. Warrior kina sucks unless you have alot of cash, but even then a bit dull, bp is a bit of a joke unless you are willing to spend serious cash. Int Priest well, thats personal choice i find it boring.

I would say whichever char you think you're best at playing....Most people seem to go for rogue or whatever their main char is to share accessories with an ardy.

I experimented with every class. Everything depends on money, really.

Warriors are just tanks and used as buffers in pvp. Unless you are geared ~60-80gbs, dont expect to claim too many kills. Mages alone will make quick work of you.

Rogues are overrated in my book. Everyone wants to be a rogue, because they see rogues own in pvp. Well, consider what "that" rogue has. +9 dual shards will make anyone fall in a duff/spike tactic. Again, more GBs. Archers, however, are a lot cheaper yet just as deadly if used right.

Priests vary. BP's kinda suck if you dont know what you're doing. If you do know what you're doing, u wont die easily. Torment is adream's supernova. Priests are always at a high demand. 3-4 healers = invincible party?

Mages are amazing. I have nothing bad to say about them. Their defense is actually very high if you have decent armor, 40-50 DD, and scrolled. I've soloed parties as an LR mage. DD means a lot when you have rogues dominating adream. Now, it seems more people are starting to understand that mages can dominate adream. Have you seen a full mage party in adream yet?

I agree with Thundergawd, i played warrior, bp and sin at dcz they are all a bit of a let down unless you have a really good amount of gbs. Mage is highly underated and only now are people starting to realise that, even Greatness realised sin was a noob and changed to mage. With my mage (LR) i would quite easily rape most rogues in vs and my def gear wasnt very impressive (Crystal +8/Skel/EP/DD+7). You only really need the following gear to have a good time in ard as a mage:

> Crimson +1rev/ Crystal +8
>Crimson DD helm +6/+7
> Old EP/Old Skel
>Imirs/Shios/Flame rings +0/+1
> Chaotic Staff +7 or Elysium +7 (Or Other Element Equivilent)
> Old Priest Earrings x2 or Cleric Earrings +0/+1 x2

this should run you around 20gbs.

However if you have more cash then go for

> Rings +2/+3
> Staff +8
> Possibly Crimson +8
> Iron Set
> Cleric Earrings +1/+2

which will cost quite alot more.
