this will always be a "secret" I think the % rates of anvil are server side, otherwise all private servers would know what are the rates....

you can determine anvil %'s purely by price since it's all probability/statistics

raptor +7 = 100 mil
raptor +8 = 10gb

thus +7 to +8 is 10% upgrade chance.

trina = 1gb

thus 5 +7 raptor + 5 trina = 1 raptor +8

trina makes +7 to +8 = 20%.



From this along, we can deduce that +7 to +8 is 10% chance of success and that trina doubles that success rate.

I disagree with your conclusion. Trina give a 20% boost to the current %. So if the % going from +7-8 is 10%, then using a Trina "+20% to sucess rate" would only boost 2%.

only way to get an idea of anvil rates is to literally just test it enough times and record every instance, and eventually youll deduce it just off of pure amount of times youve burnt and succeeded, you'll get close or at least within 5% (this is assuming you use a big enough sample size of course, not something like 10)
