How'd archers get so big?

Hey, I haven't played this game in ages and just came to browse the forums for fun... I was kinda considering coming back heh.
Anyway, I was thinking if I played I'd be an rogue or mage, but from what I remembered back when I played, archer wasn't really viable, or at least no one did it. So I was just curious, did anything change?

Also, is it worth coming back? lmao

They're cool when you're in an archer party.

If you have more than 1 in any given pk party, you will be at a disadvantage.
