Upgrade limit on quest weapons

We just did a nice findout.

Ko has actually done something bad/good well it's up to you to decide, but they put upgradelimit on quest weapons.

all weapons that comes form Burning skeleton quest or the cleaver quest has a upgrade limit.

all burning skeleton weapons can get to +8.

and all cleaver quest weapons can get to +9.

some of a my friends had problems with upgradeing cause they wanted for example to do cleaver +10 and i wanted to do md +9.

it turned out that a few md's was upgradeable and a few wasn't. same with md and when we looked closer into it we found this.

i hope this helps u all.

to know if a weapon is quest or old u can see in the text under the weapon. On a md forexample: if it's a long text it can only get to +8 if it's a short text it can goes to rev 30

I noticed that a while back when i tried upgrading some things, thought it was pretty shit idea and really annoying..

Never knew more info into it though so thanks for the info. I wish there was a way to find out what + they can go too, seens as there has been plenty of +6 shit ive bought and cant even make it +7

every weapon that has "sold at cheap prices to NPC merchants" in the end of description is a quest weapon and has upgrade limit

Its like an salamander staff +6, you cant get it higher if it has that description.

This is done to prevent people from bugging quests to make leet items, thank the bug abusers for this.

Seens as the majority of the people that farm them are koxpers, i guess they decided this was easier instead of getting active gms. But in the long run it fucks us over seens as its basically impossible to make cleaver 9's now, only way would be using the cleaver 8's floating on the server or repeating the MSS quests, that gives a +5 cleaver doesnt it?
