This is a discussion on New mouse within the General Chat forums, part of the Knight Online (ko4life.com) category; I'm planning to change my 3$ mouse with somethin cooler, with a good price/quality ratio. What would you suggest me?...

I have a razer lachesis and it skips around a lot and will sometimes randomly invert. Then on occasion it will keep jumping to the previous place I had it after I move it. So if you do go with razer make sure you go with a better one like the mamba. Also I like Logitech too..

Keep in mind that you must buy a mouse pad, I'm using a steelseries.

The best mouse right now is:
SteelSeries Xai Laser Mouse | maxfps.se

It is about 70€ (almost equal to 3x plat prems)

I got a mx518 which i am happy with since you can set the extra "keys" to whatever you want

what does looks have to do with the mouse? :P
it's the best gaming-mouse atleast.. with it, you don't need to patch your usb drivers to get 500/1000Hz on the mouse.

I don't have it, but i'm very aware of gaming products

Based on that, which seems to be ignored by most people in their responses, I've got to say a Logitech Laser G3 is your best option, the G5 is just a MX kind-of fancy version of a G3. You can get a G3 from $20 to $30 in ebay, its really cheap and has a good performance as any other mouse.

I hate it when i pay almost full price for an item then 1 week later it drops about 66% of its price!!! Grrrr! anyhow i like this mouse for laptop use. Its wireless $10 (Great for the kiddies, you can save your allowance) made by logitec and it has smooth scrolling. The mouse might not be ideal for people with huge hands. Its at Target.
