Hmm I don't see a problem with this at all, being the entire community will be receiving the same XP benefits, therefore it is fair. It's not like its a 1000% xp bug which would undermine the servor.
People dislike bugging for xp because it gives a few people a rediculously unfair advantage. That is not the case here. For a little while everyone on Ares can come on and get a bit excited about xping for once. Sounds like a good move by the king to me.
While wanting to adhere to the rules of the game is something I can understand (as they keep the game from falling into anarchy), if you think about it the spirit of the TOS is not being undermined here in anyway so really shouldn't even be an issue.

Its all conected to formulas, mobs ac/hp/exp.

Flatline already told a gm after the restart "hey, the XP event isn't working anymore" and the gm replied something like "oh I'll put it back then" or something like it. They already knew the bug anyway, and K2 can't remove it for a2-a3 cuz it'd be a big advantage for premium users who already have xp bonus.
I think he tried to say " please buy items / potions from NPC for Exp event " but dunno , turk = turk ( english sucks and also cheaters )
