Clan transfer

I made a clan while ago with another character, but as the restat/reskill cost is too massive I had to create new one. I'm wondering if I am able to transfer the leader while my another character (obviously) is offline or I need give it to someone else who then transfers it to me?

You must be online

you can only transfer clan to a char that is online

Okey, but in theory I can move it to a friend of mine and he transfer it right back at me? or it got cooldown or something.

you can pass cl to friend and get it right back, there is no cd
