actualy if u look at Dante's Hell (Divine Comedy) u'll find that Bifrost are bridges / paths that lead from one to next circle of hell.
there are 9 circles with siners: limbo, lustful, gluttonous, hoarders and spendthifts, wrathful, heretics, violent, fraudulence, bottom of well;
and 7 "death" sins (by Dante): lust, gluttony, greed, wrath, pride(egoisam), sloth (laziness), envy.

anything ring a bell ?
