Can someone pass this SSL info along to K2's webmaster?

I've been sending e-mails and calling K2 for a week now, because they have misconfigured the SSL certificate for their web site. Their CA (certifying authority) issues end-user certificates through an Intermediate Certifying Authority and not directly from the CA Root Authority.

This is why most, if not all, users receive a security warning when viewing any web page from www.knightonlineworld.com over a secure (SSL) connection.

K2 hasn't responded to my e-mails or phone calls, but there are details from their SSL provider at the following link to help them configure their web server and install the Intermediate certificate correctly. If someone could pass this along to them, it would resolve a big hassle for many of us.

I passed this info the very first day the error came up, to the lead tech gm.

No answer tho, he is usually very busy.

If end-users trust K2 and trust their certifying authority, they may wish to install the intermediate certificate on their own computers to avoid security warnings when viewing web pages at https://www.knightonlineworld.com/ .

If you want to install the certificate, go to https://certificates.starfieldtech.com/Repository.go and scroll down to the section that says Intermediate Certificate. You will need to download and open the sf_issuing.crt certificate on that page. (I am not linking to it directly from this post so that users who choose to download it and install it know it is coming from the original source.)

Once you've downloaded the certificate, open it. You will want to choose "Install Certificate..." on the certificate properties page that appears. Let Windows automatically choose the proper certificate store for it. Once you've installed the certificate, your computer will have the full trust path available to it and you will no longer get the certificate warning messages when viewing www.knightonlineworld.com .
