Can't TP

Me and my 2 friends were having fun tping turks into golems. Then i saw this lvl 60+ rogue with rebirth shell etc, I invited him to the party and he accepted, but when we went to tp him it kept saying casting failed.
And later in town i kept seeing him pop up in town over and over again blinking like he had died.

But why couldn't we tp that guy into golems, he wasn't still flashing, and we still couldn't tp him...
