For the ftp server error:

Download all the patches, unzip and extract to C:Program FilesKnightOnline.
Then open Server.ini file and change Files=xxxx to 1461.

For the Xtrap error:
Start->Run->CMD->ipconfig /flushdns.
Try doing it a few times to make sure.

i have same problem
i have reinstalled 4 times
turned off firewall and antivirus
restarts
ipconfig/flushdns
and deleted xtrap folder
nothing seems to work i keep getting same thing over and over again for weeks now please someone help :wub:

Deleting Xtrap is your problem... you'll have to re-install KO now, or at least set your version to like 1300 in the config.

Xtrap is build into the game now, it's required for the game to run. That's like saying "I deleted my system32 folder and now Windows doesn't run".

yes this is the xtrap problem... flush dns is helpin for me and many ppl

so flush DNS
start KO
if stil not workin flush again, and start KO
try few times, if still not workin flush DNS, restart PC and start KO... its always workin for me

doesent matter if u delete xtrap folder or not normally the launcher just re dl's it.
