it really depends on so many different things

if it was an item chem wasn't even there for (chem being his char whether or not he got 100 ppl playing it) then obviously he should be returning it . but this is an item he helped kill a boss he says he scouted himself and also there was apparently no clan rules established concerning clan drops .
