I do agree that K2 is a pretty crappy company to be running a game as large as KO, but apparently the "new system" was put into place when President Bush (PLEASE WE'RE NOT GONNNA TAKE ABOUT POLITICS IN THIS THREAD) decided that DST should be a week later than the orginal time from now on.
K2 is just a little behind on the political news.

the times for wars were just following the old American system for DST.
but then again, i really don't know K2's true intentions.
