Only "King Event" I've ever heard of was a huge vs tournament in some random part of cz. Winners got money, but prolly less than the value of the pots they used xD

events are meant to spice up the game and have fun. not make a living. its like going to a car show with a $500 first palce. your $70k car won the first place buts it all about the fun and pride in winning and rubbing it in everyones face
