Differences between the ventrilo and teamspeak?

i am use ventrilo , and Some rooms of the ventrilo make the game becomes slow Why ?

imo ventrilo is better, like that other guy said u dont hear ppl clearly all sound the same in ts. so i prefer ventrilo.

lol I was thinking wtf is this guy doing..

I connected to a teamspeak because some of my clannies wanted me to try it out back in the days, after 2 minutes I had a headache, the quality was just aweful.

mm i find vent is better because if your screaming at hackz0rs on CS. Its easy for them not to hear you without hititng TAB And you know when its pressed

And always used vent for about 5 years when my first clan on a game made me download it <3 DA (<strike>dupers</strike>

I&#39;ve used both Ventrilo and TeamSpeak....functionally, there&#39;s not a whole lot of difference. Quality of sound depends largely on the server - specifically which codec it&#39;s using and how much bandwidth is available to it.

Either will do fine - if you have a spare box and decent upload (512k+), try running a TeamSpeak server and see how it works for you.

vent got perhaps a better voice quality but i use to be in ts for more then 4 years now and will stay there^^

I used both TeamSpeak and Ventrilo before. TBH, I prefer Teamspeak more than Ventrilo, but a better quality Teamspeak server cost a lot more, and not many people host Teamspeak servers. Also ventrilo is more common, everyone uses it, so I ended up using ventrilo
