You do notice how half of the ppl voted for Vent but never used TS before??

anyways, not here to argue, Eric has a point

Vent is way more popular than TS, hence majority votes for vent because they have actually used it

    ventrilo.

u can confiure it more and less complication with it anyway.
the only thing that is - u need always the server hoster's version. so if u have 2 company to talk, but on diff. version of ventrilo. u have to install it multiple times a day

I used TS for 2 years. All of my clannies used it. Then I switch clans and heard of ventrilo. When I went on it wow the voices were so much cleared, but you have to get used to some of the shit. So IMO Vent>TS

I've used both Ventrilo and Teamspeak, but have found Vent to be easier + more settings. (Chat function, Binds, Comments etc..)

teamspeak is easir to hack but when u have been using ts for 2 or more years , ventrillo sounds like a bunch of robots talkin in a room :S a good ts server with a high codec cant beat it // many plugins for ts also TS overlays .. n shit

Ventrillo is better quality and has more options, but I have problems with people being too faint, even with preferences turned to 400, and others are fine, then some are way too loud. Even after I adjust individual settings the quantity of people we have in our clans server to set them for each one is a pain. Even after that I still have poeple who are too faint.

I played with the gain settings for the entire system, then usually end up with ear splitting feedback.
Ive tried all the suggestions from the Vent site, and end up with the same result.

I prefer teamspeak because it takes up way less BW then vent and everybody is the same volume, something that vent has not been able to do for me.
