Yeah the online play with RSV kicks ass. Second most played on the 360 next to gears now I think...


I think they copied CoD4's gamestyle though. Even though CoD4 is releasing later I'm pretty sure they've been working on it much longer, and the games are pretty identical in some ways, both new ideas involving modern combat, similar explosives and devices, revolutionary cover system, even the ranking system...but RSV is no joke. Infinity Ward has confidence they're going to give Halo 3 a run for their money in sales.

Anyway...still looking for a partner to run through the coop with me...

Yeah I was thinking of getting a PS3...The only thing is every time I check out the rentals and games for sale nothing really catches my eye for the ps3. Of course I want to play stuff like resistance...but most the stuff that looks any good to me on the ps3...I find that I already own on the 360 :S

BTW...I read in GI that Crysis is only coming to PC

Right now I have Resistance, Full Auto 2, Blazing Angels, Oblivion and FEAR. GRAW2 is coming out, same with RSV. Socom 4, Warhawk ( beta begins next week XD )

How is the Home thing? I heard it doesn't really have the same popularity that XBL does...but everyone is bashing Sony...people's expectations were too high...GI says that the PS3 actually sold 50,000 more consoles than the 360 did in the first 3 months of release...(around 900k)...so I don't know...


What are you looking forward to? I rented FEAR on the 360...I liked Condemned better...FEAR seemed too cheesy, did make me jump a few times though. If you want a real thriller though, get Condemned: Criminal Origins (if it is on the PS3)...- Actually, just rent it, takes about 1 day to beat carelessly...but Home doesn't have achievements so who cares about picking up all the extras xD!

What titles are you looking forward to? BTW...I demand that you get RSV...it's the best FPS I've seen yet..

Home is something different. I only saw the videos and news threads from GDC this year, I didn't get into the closed public beta ( well, never invited ) so I have no idea how it's going atm. But it's pretty nice, large 3d world you can go around in, the "achievements" like in Live are all 3d trophys you can see your stats for ( the trophy room is HUGE ), they have basic games you can play from the Home Arcade, you can watch movies at the movie theatre etc. Each person has their own private apartment ( or house if you buy it with $ ) which you can customize. There is alot of things you can put into your house, most are free, some are dlc ( downloadable content ), and others come with games you play. You can invite people from your friends list to your private house (only way they can enter it ) and you can all hang around.

You can communicate using either on screen keybaord, a USB/Bluetooth keyboard, or you can talk on a headset. You can also go directly from Home to a game that you chose, like if your playing Socom or Resistance you can have your whole clan at your apartment in Home, and then go straight to the games Online menu to do some battles. The next beta is in the summer, and the release is coming this fall.

I dont exactly know the specs of the ps3 vs 360 sales ( on launch, not overall )

I might try RVS, i wasn't really a fan of the Tom Clancy games but Ubi Soft are gay and they're holding back on pretty much any game releases atm.

Yeah, I've never been a fan of Tom Clancy either...but easter this year my mom got it for me ...tried it, disliked it.


Half a month later, I decide I want the achievements for it...turns out...the game kicks major ass. Takes some getting used to, and a while to get to the point of full comprehension of everything the game has to offer, but honestly the game kicks everything else out there's ass.

There was another game I saw in a magazine that I really wanted, I think it was lair...something about a guy stuck in WWII times who is playing the stealthy...revenge-driven guy who goes up against Nazi high-ups...don't know...but it looked good.


Home sounds like it will be a major success...fuck. I'm going to have to get a ps3 -_-
