With the addition of ROFD came the removal of an important past time in farming: the farming of Dark Mares in Ronark Land (colony zone). A patch is supposed to supplement the game, not completely change it. When this was removed, not only were people unable to farm for essential items like shards, shell pauldrons, and raptors at a constant rate, but people could not prevent them from farming as well. This cut down on both player killing and the ability to obtain non-unique items in colony zone. Due to the removal, there is now less activity throughout Colony Zone, and the places that they once inhabited are now unvisited.

All that we ask is that the Dark Mares spawn where they once resided.[/b]

Anyone would really go and farm DMs? I mean, unless the drop rate would increase significantly, it&#39;s just not worth it these days...

Since they got the DMS out of CZ shell pauldrons became the hardest shell part to get,
I remember PRE-ROFD everybody walked arround with 4x chitins +7 and shell pauldron +7
I know they wont bring back the dms but I sure hope they will ^^

DMs would be pointless... they should add another spawn tho in their place... something that was good exp and had decent drops... like EW or something for melees :P

They have EWs in CZ already. Currently, they put Doom Soldiers there. When they were redoing CZ, I don&#39;t believe that they knew how important those Dark Mares were so they put something new in their place. Dark Mares also have very decent drops. If you remember correctly, you didn&#39;t have to kill 150 dark mares to get one item you can upgrade (like you must do with the easily soloable while unbuffed EWs).

farming DMs was always fun cause random drops. I could solo one in almost 30 seconds so it was very easy and killed time
