Your comparing making money on KO to a job?platinum + 4k kc (or w/e the max amount of kc u can buy is) is like 75$+ every month
as for profit, its a game, your supposed to play for fun. i know some people spend all the time merchanting items then selling the gold bars for usd, but that takes along time and its boring, like i said its supposed to be played for fun
also you can make alot more money by just getting a job. even minimum wage would provide a more steady, reliable source of $$[/b]
I had LOTS of fun playing the market when I still played. (Except when I burned something worth all the money I'd made on the anvil, which I seemed to do a lot)
I've probably made ~$300 profit.
What's the difference?
You can either "collect" levels, or you can "collect" money.
Some people find one more fun, some people find the other more fun.
and lost about 300 on anvil so u broke even.Your comparing making money on KO to a job?

i have never made any money off this game, but if i were 2 sell my char and all my items, i could make a heafty profit , i have also never spent any money on this game other then premium :P
Lost $0
Gained $0
I would say, I have spent around 600$ In this game
But I made nearly...4-5,000 Selling shit so yea.
This was when I use to buy shit and resell on another forum though so it's been awhile lol.
Only way to make profit in KO is buying low/selling high and farming (wich isn't worth it).
Anyway, to the turks playing KO for a living, ever tought of switching to eBay?
I think you could make a couple of thousand per month if you have a big enough roll (Arround 30k$ should be enough I think)
played for 2 years, spent around $2k on prem/pus. sold account for $800. lost money on ko. damn.
hmm i sold my rogue at lvl 79 in xigenon and its gear for 3500 YTL which is almost 3000 usd
how much did i spend ? for cs+0, 250 ytl, for premium, 300 ytl, and most important is ive spent too much time lvling
so i made like 3000 ytl = 2500 usd profit hehe
that is why im spending money for items for my mage in akara ;o)
Made around 1500$ out of 2 transactions.
Actually im against those USD things, never bought something for USD, but found it rather stupid to just leave my shits on a char while I could make some nice money out of it. Anyways used it to go festivals/ski holidays
i made here like 2k$
i made 93€ profit for selling my char
bought it for 30€ and sold for 123€
Huh profit can be about 50bucks maybe
