Hey. I totally support the idea and to show the corruption and violation of TOS by K2 itself is to go find ex-GMs that are willing to help. They can give you the down-low on how K2 operates and maybe help out with proving that some GMs sell items for USD. You can also go find someone to apply and do undercover work. :P

i suggest you find the well known Ex-GM InfiniteMadness. He recently (couple of months ago) got fired because i believe K2 outsourced to India.(again not 100% sure why)

im pretty sure he can be of some kind of help.

Mabey one of the mods cud give you msn/some way you can contact him.

What do you hope to achieve by this?

A fine for K2? Great, even less money to spend on GM's and servers. Closing down usko? nice one im sure a lot of people will be grateful to lose their chars that they are still enjoying.

K2 can do what they do because it says so in the ToS and you all agreed to it. These lawsuit ideas are just childish and show ignorance of the law. If you are fed up with USKO then fuck them and switch game. You act like a bunch of addicted smokers trying to sue tobacco companies like it will solve your addiction.

K2 can't do whatever they want, sure they can get away with alot, but there are alot of things they do they can get in trouble for. If that was so, then I could make some bs company that doesn't do anything, say in my TOS that I can do whatever I want, then when people buy something from me, I will charge them 3 times for the item, then not give it to the buyer. Hmm..that seems a little illegal...too bad that's what k2 does.

their ToS can be changed at any time, and they retain the right to do whatever they like to your character without warning or reason. If you do not receive PUS items then you still don't have a case because your character is their property and they can use some bs excuse for it.

My old char has been perma banned a couple of times with no real reason; one time for opening a trade in cz and leaving it. When i asked for proof that i had tradespammed they didnt have it. Its your word against theirs. There is nothing you can do except leave the game for a better one.

umm yea, buy a couple of gernades and "accendently" toss them in there :P

But anyways, i agree with a couple of people, Haru, yes that would be an excellent idea, maybe even "pretending" to buy items from them, like an undercover cop, take screen shots in game, save the msn logs, and you could defenitly do something about hiring people that break there own TOS, unless it says when they were hired that its ok to sell items to people for usd.

Also, i agree with Viagra, sit down one day and just read through all of their TOS/EULA and find a "loop hole" or something were its just not right and you know a time where they havent done what they said they would or that they did someting that they said they didnt or something like that.

I also remeber on their old Website, it said that premium members' tickets will be replied within 24 hours, that was never true, but im pretty sure they took that away.

Last, Good luck like someone was saying, You have nothing to loose and yet so much to gain.

I dont understand why so many people are posting sayin that "gl nothing will happen". pisses me off

and umm some one make me sig oke? i posted in sig section

0000000 u dont get it, in a legal case the stuff they do (especially dealing with money from buyers of pus items) could get them in trouble. If someone buys premium, is charged twice, and not charged back the money, or given what they pay for, is illegal. There is nothing in their tos that says they can be criminals.

It would be criminal in a real life shop, but the things you pay for are not your property at any stage of the deal. No shop in real life has such an air-tight contract either. Dealing with virtual items opens a whole mass of loopholes for companies to exploit.

Amendments. The Company may amend, update, modify or correct this Agreement, or modify the Rules of Conduct at any time in its sole discretion without any obligation to inform the User of the amendment or changes by posting the amended Agreement or modified Rules of Conduct at http://www.knightonlineworld.com. Amendments or changes to the Agreement will be effective immediately after the amended Agreement is posted. Modifications to the Rules of Conduct will be effective immediately upon posting. Your use of Knight Online after the effective date of any amendments to this Agreement constitutes your agreement to the amendments

If you go to court over owed premium money, K2 can legally change their ToS *after* the event to say that any lost money is not the responsibility of K2 and the customers may/may not always receive exactly what they pay for. You agreed to it, remember.

© Account. By agreeing to the User Agreement you agree that you do not own the Account you use to access the Service, the characters The Company stores on The Company servers, the game items and the in-game virtual money in the Account, or any other data which the servers and accounts are comprised of. The Account, characters, game items, in-game virtual money and any other data which the servers and accounts are comprised of, are properties of The Company.

If you do not own something you pay for, like bronze premium, you have no rights over it and no control about its duration. This is why K2 can get away with scamming 10 days off premium.

    This is the key part:

    (a) Purchase of Game Items and In-game Virtual Money. The Company may offer to sell to you in the Game and on the Web Site, from time to time, virtual items that can be used in Knight Online (The "Game Item"). Also, The Company may offer to sell to you in the Game and on the Web Site, from time to time, in-game virtual money that can be used to purchase the Game Items in Knight Online (The 'Knight Cash&#39. If you select to purchase a Game Item or Knight Cash, you agree that you have understood how the Game Item and Knight Cash are used in the Game and are fully responsible for all the consequences related to the use or transfer of such Game Item and Knight Cash. You agree that any out-of-game transfer of Game Item and Knight Cash is not permitted. THE GAME ITEM AND THE KNIGHT CASH YOU HAVE PURCHASED IS NOT REFUNDABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES OR REASONS WHATSOEVER. You also agree that the Game Items and the Knight Cash you have purchased are properties of The Company, and what you obtained through the purchase is merely the right to use such Game Items and Knight Cash in the Game. The Company also reserves the right to not sell Game Items and Knight Cash to certain players

Not only do they have no obligation to provide you with what you bought, they can arbitrarily not sell things to ANYONE, for no reason whatsoever. So bye bye bronze premium.

This is not the same ToS they had when i started playing. They have realised that their company sucks balls, but instead of fixing it, they have covered their bases legally with the most draconian end user agreement i have ever seen. If most companies did this, no one would buy their product. The difference is that K2 have a market of players who will keep playing and paying no matter how much they are shit on.
