well, its kinda higher but i think rate on bothside is same....

2-3 hours ago in 15 min we got 2 elixirs, 1 deep scar and an iron bow at eslant dms it was a litlle surprisng

Well, drop rate depend on you luck, not K2s drop rate. Some day you get 3 shards in 1 hour from DMs, next day you get ban or hack....are you lucky? Test it in KO.
