Tempest/Private, I get your points but I dont think we are talking about complaining. U are free to complain about whatever u want. Flaming is a different story. Complain about K2, servers, Xtrap, koxp, a player, etc. Problem is when u start insulting and trash talking all over the forums.

Besides that being COMPLETELY POINTLESS since nobody will ever change his attitude after reading your point of view, it only generates a lot of chaos. Lately thats all whats been going on. Topics full of flames out of control. That we dont like.

But sure, if its the general feeling that mods have contributed to these state, then is time to have a chat with them about it. I dont get involved much in the "editorial line" of the forums since I dont have much time but I will this time.

The only reason we are doing this is to improve this site and ppl feel free to talk without being bashed after making a post. If u or anyone else dont want to be treated as a 3 year old girl, then start behaving as grown ups. Maybe is not your case (Tempest and Private), but there's a lot of inmature ppl that act like little kids and feel like flaming 24x7.

I agree with you there - it was a fun place to moderate hardly any flames lots of good discussions, you cant blame the new mods for the wave of idiots that have hit this forum though. We just need to stomp out the kids for a while and get this place sorted.

ranking was originally created as an alternative to the nazi controlled Official Forums where people could come, express their opinions and rawr occasionally flame. KO4Life was created to be a much better ranking, which i still believe it is, and we have 90% less gay porn too (...schrotti). I know people flame, but often its because they feel passionately about a subject.

saying that maybe we should take more control of extreme cases of flaming, and put a stop to them, but i guess insulting someone during a disagreement is a part of life.

...and don't don't get me started on the admins out of nowhere :P

I'm gonna have to say that I don't believe ALL flames should be an insta-ban. The occasional flame to someone who didn't read pinned topics or didn't check previous topics is completely fine as far as I'm concerned. The only time mods should get involved is when the topic has gotten out of control and off-topic. Those topics need to be handled, otherwise I say a bit of flaming isn't necessarily a bad thing.

How many times must I say that the editing I did on that topic was for a specific reason, which was his first line of the entire post, "and fuck it ill spam the fucken fourms FUCK TMS AND TEZ." Did I bother to check on it? No. Why? Because I don't play KO anymore and now that we have Market Mods, I don't check the Market sections. I don't feel like it's my responsibility to know everything that happens/happened in Diez or any of the other servers. I went straight ahead to editing his post. Why did I edit it rather than simply moving it? I don't know, that was on me, I should have moved it but I decided to edit it so that I could have fun.
