Default Where is this babashopper name coming from?

Okay, as we all know turks are crawling in knight online servers world wide. but when the name babashopping came around it wasn't nearly like that. I believe turks started buying gears to their characters after americans and europeans did.

    So why babashopping?

    FYI: urban dictionary says

Babashop: Where black people go to have their hair cut.

there was an npc that sells all kind of shells/high class weapons for coins, somehow some turk hackers found a way to get to it and the turkish clans were filled with uber gear, that npc recieved the name babashop, as for turkish items store.
after awhile ppl started buying gear for usd and poped up with l33t gear aswell, so ppl started calling them babashopers and thats how things started to roll..

    -_-

It was just a name for turks who were buying items from GMs in early days. There were some hilarious pics i remember. OBL spot ftw! Some fagget whos stealing names from myko heros knows nothing.

Baba was just a word that others picked up at first. Since there was hardly any turks at ares at first. Diez already had some at the start, but it wasent considerd an epidemic.

Baba, aga, klan kac, ibne, abaza. That was our understanding of turkeyland back then.

P.S hairstyle has to be my favoritest and bestest GM like EVER.

There was early suspicions that some well geared folks were buying from GM's. Baba was just one of the words that we said a lot (as magyk said) cuz the turks did. In fact going "babashopping" for a while meant buying straight from a GM and then it kinda shifted to mean buying for USD. The term was coined and stuck pretty early on. Really nothing more to it.

PS those other stories, while entertaining, bare no truth.
