go to AVG control center->click resident shield->properties in the corner of the screen->uncheck "Turn on AVG resident shield protection"-> press apply and OK. ur windows will give a security alert thingy in the corner but just ignore it. put the check back on the resident shield when ur done with ko.

Wrong - it's the AVG users responsibility to do that.

The problem is with AVG NOT with the files released by K2.
