Gem drop rate fixed?

i put money on it you'll get more drops if ur on gold then u will if ur on platnium like the other day i found attila 2 ppl ksed me both on gold double drop for them wp and pp on gold if they were to do that on plat they would of got coins and a soul pot

When I played w/o prem, Atilla used to drop his gear and others with ANY prem sometimes got nutin.
Does that mean a none prem gets better drops than a prem. NO IT DON'T.
If premium does effect drop rate, which has been debated for a long time, then Plat HAS TO HAVE A HIGHER RATE than gold.
