Is the staff super rare have yet to see one in merchant on Pathos?

Hell Blood/Elysium/Garp staffs come from bifrost fragments.

At the moment, bifrost is not enabled but the fragments can still be farmed from the bifrost monsters in CZ. This makes all bifrost items somewhat rarer and more expensive than other uniques.

Keep in mind that while staff AP does affect your single target mage damage, higher elemental bonus will increase your AOE damage.

Yeah they can be pretty hard to find in merchant. I'd personally go with scorching since I'm not that rich/patient haha

I don't know on pathos, but in cypher there is plenty of them. You can get it from fragments so it might be rare now , but since bifrost opened there will be plenty more of them soon in any server.
